(St. Louis, MO - July 18th, 2005) -- After our not so good run at the kart track Sunday we headed over to Tri-City Speedway Sunday Night. We drew a not so good pill that gave us a bad start for the heat race. We did make a great change on the car that made it handle 100 times better. We were able to run the top and stay in the throttle longer and not use so much brake. This was a great advantage in our heat as it was full of very good race cars. We were able to finish 5th place without any major incidents. In the feature we were starting in 10th. We ran a pretty good race and got away again without any major incidents. If the race had been a few laps longer we might have been able to get around a few more cars but, when the checkered flew we were sitting in 8th position. We are pretty happy with this run and are really starting to figure out this track. The more we figure it out the more we like it. We would like to come back next week but, we just cant as we would like to head to I-55 Raceway for there Race Night of Special Champions and leave Sunday for karting as we need to really get our heads in the game because it will now be tough to get the points back that we lost with our bad finish this week. We are setting up for what is going to be an awesome points battle so stay tuned for results.
