(St. Louis, MO - July 29th, 2005) -- Walters Motorsports will head to I-55 raceway this Saturday. After a few weeks of racing at Tri-City Speedway we will head back to I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Mo for there Fan Appreciation Night and Mid-Season Championships. NASCAR star and fan favorite Ken Schrader will also be on hand racing his UMP Late Model with admission only being 5 dollars. It will also be the Impressive Race Cars kids Nickel race hosted by our chassis builder Impressive Race Cars. Great prizes will be given away kids in the nickel race including Bikes, Toys, Go-Karts, R/C Cars, ext. The sportsman's will have a certain number of cars locked into the feature based on point standings. We have missed a few races at I-55 this season as we have been running at Tri-City Speedway these last few weeks, as a result we are currently 28th of 53 in points. This means we will probably have to race our way into the feature. However, we should be OK as we usually run pretty good at I-55 and while we were running at Tri-City we have discovered something that made us a little faster. Be sure to check out the racing this Saturday at I-55 Raceway and be sure to bring the kids as they will get in free. Adult admission is only 5 dollars to see NASCAR driver Ken Schrader and the kids will be able to have a ton of fun in the Impressive Nickel Race with great prizes to be given away.
