Weekend Report: Rain Outs - Next Weekend (St. Louis, MO - May 3rd, 2006) -- We have one great night in the DIRT car a few weeks ago and now, we cant get back to the track to try it again. We been dying to make it back to I-55 Raceway since we think we found a rocket set-up. However, Once again our weekend was rained out. We also had plans of making it to Tri-City Speedway but that rained out as well. Next week Walters Motorsports will head to SLKA for Saturday morning practice in the karts. We don’t like to run karting and dirt in the same weekend. However, we have a big STARS event coming up and both drivers need to use this local event for testing and making sure we have all the bugs worked out. Shane will head to I-55 Raceway Saturday Night for the Dirt car. Sunday, the team will split on Sunday. Evan plans to head to SLKA and compete in their race program while Shane will head to Tri-City Speedway Sunday Night in the DIRT car. After the races are over at the kart track, they will load up as fast as possible and head to Tri-City to help out Shane. Shane would love to run both. However, he is worried about noting being able to make it over to Sunday before the pits close.
